Symbiosis Institute of Technology is a constituent of Symbiosis International University, established in the year 2008. Currently, it offers B. Tech programmes in Civil, Computers, Electronics & Telecommunication, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. The Institute plans to start Master’s Programmes in specialized areas of Engineering & Technology with industry participation in the near future. Research programmes leading to Ph. D. Degree have already been started in the Faculty of Engineering of Symbiosis International University. The Institute provides an environment conducive for harnessing the potential of both faculty and students through systematic and effective planning and control of the teaching and learning process, both within and outside the classroom. The basic teaching and learning process is supplemented by organizing techfests, cultural programmes, sports competitions, Industry-Institute meets, guest lectures by renowned personalities and student exchange programmes with foreign universities.
