Hi, I am from hyd .I have mechanical back ground. My question is if "OM" is opted to general mba and narrowed down ,then why do companies choose a person with this narrowed specilisation instead of general Mba who can do the same task and also has extra skills in other category's? Mostly big comapnies are now a days producing multi-products.
COmpanies select OM specialists for process excellence expertise and attitude.Hence OM gets its importance in all sectors as well as domain areas.Companies be it single or multiproduct will want managers with such operations excellence expertise . If you feel the need to talk to any of our faculties you may call on the board lines and get connected. All the Best.
