Hello Sir. I'm a qualified Chartered Accountant who had taken up CA through the CPT route immediately after my 12th std. As per ICAI rules, a CA student has to undergo 3.5 yrs of internship as a result of which he/she would not be able to attend regular college. At the end of 4 yrs, the student has a professional qualification (treated as PG today by Association of Indian Universities). I have been able to complete my B.com (Accounts and Finance) through correspondence from IGNOU in 2011. I completed my CA in 2012. The eligibility criterion as per SIBM-BENGALURU's website includes "regular" graduation. I'm not sure if Association of Indian Universities' recognition of CA as a PG would be considered by SIBM-BENGALURU while selecting students for PG programmes for the year 2013-15. Please can you clarify whether I'm eligible to take up a PG course in SIBM-BENGALURU, considering that I have not been able to pursue "regular" graduation ONLY BECAUSE I chose to pursue CA at the age of 17.
